By using The Shops, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What we provide

The Shops is a free app that displays grocery prices for participating Australian retailers and lets you share a shopping list with your household.

Price accuracy

Prices in the app are sourced from publicly available retailer information and may be out of date by up to 24 hours. The price at the register is authoritative. We are not responsible for any difference between the price shown in The Shops and the price you pay in store.

Retailer trademarks

Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, Panetta and other retailer names are trademarks of their respective owners. The Shops is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer. We display retailer names solely to identify the source of price information.

Online ordering

The Shops offers an optional feature that sends your shopping list to your own Coles or Woolworths account. When you use it, the retailer's own website opens in an in-app browser and you sign in directly with the retailer — we never see, handle, or store your retailer login details.

This feature only adds items to a list in your retailer account. We do not place orders, take payment, or act as a reseller, agent, or representative of any retailer. You review your cart and complete any purchase yourself, directly with the retailer, subject to the retailer's own terms, prices, product availability, and delivery or collection arrangements. Product matches and quantities are our best effort and may be imperfect, so please check your cart before you check out.

Your account

You can use the app as a guest or sign in with a supported identity provider. You're responsible for keeping that account secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app's You. tab; the deletion and shared-household details are explained in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or commercially redistribute data from the app
• Use the app in any way that breaks the law or infringes others' rights
• Attempt to interfere with the app's normal operation
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You can also terminate your own account at any time.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be available, accurate, or error-free at all times.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Changes to these terms

We'll update this page if these terms change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
